Use this service to pay to renew your electrician license.
About renewing your electrician license
- An electrician license is valid for 3 years and must be renewed on expiration, according to the expiration date on the license.
- If you don’t pay the renewal fee on time, you will be fined.
- If you have already paid online, don’t pay again when you receive the license fee in the post.
- After paying, you must keep your receipt of (online) payment with your license at all times in order for your license to be valid.
- As of February 2016, failure to pay the license renewal fee for over 2 years, and an additional 9 months extension beyond the expiration date, automatically, and without notice cancels the license and it cannot be renewed. This means you will have to apply online for a new electrician license.
- The renewed license will be sent to your registered address.
- If you don't receive the renewed license, contact the Electrician Licensing Unit directly.
You can pay to renew your licence in one of the following ways:
Online using a credit card
- For one item, you can pay up to 35,000 NIS with regular credit or adjusted interest credit payments.
- For more than one item, you can pay up to 15,000 NIS per item for unlimited items with regular credit or adjusted interest credit payments.
- In any other case, you can only pay with adjusted interest credit payments.
Bank
You can pay in person at one of the following banks:
Bank Leumi, Discount Bank, Bank Hapoalim, Union Bank, Bank Otsar Hahayal, Mercantile Bank, Mizrahi-Tefahot Bank, U-Bank, First International Bank, Bank Massad and Poalei Agudat Israel Bank.
You need to be subscribed to the bank's internet services, including approval for the execution of third party transfers.
