Get approval to accept national civic service volunteers in your organization
Public institutes and organizations can apply for approval to provide placements for national civic service volunteers or community volunteers.
To apply:
- enter the online application
- select the legal status of your organization:
- for government offices and subsidiary units, and local authorities, select "public authority"
- for public associations (Amuta), a public benefit organizations, organizations that perform a public service and more, select "non-public body"
- complete the application steps, attach the required documents, and submit the application online
After your application is approved contact one of the recognized bodies that coordinates national civic service volunteers to apply for volunteers.
Required documents
If your organization needs to place volunteers at more than one location, attach an excel document including:
- organization name – for educational institutions also include the institution symbol
- address
- city/town
- the volunteers’ role
- the number of volunteers needed
- names of contacts at the organization and their roles
- email and phone number
Non-public bodies also need to attach:
- a certificate of registration from the relevant registrar
- a valid certificate of good governance
- approval of a public institution under section 46 of the Income Tax Ordinance or an affidavit signed by the applying organization and a lawyer regarding the fulfillment of the conditions for a public institution under the Income Tax Ordinance.
