Use this service to request permission to study while in active national-civic service.
Who can receive permission to study
- Volunteers in the first year of service can receive permission to enroll in studies for up to 6 hours a week.
- Volunteers in the second year of service can receive permission to enroll in studies for up to 12 hours a week..
- Permission to study is granted on the condition that it does not impair volunteers' service.
- The study program must contribute to the volunteer's socio-economic status.
This service is free of charge.
How to apply
- Download and print the Request to study during National-Civic Service form.
- Fill in the form and submit it to your coordinator in your recognized place of volunteering.

- This service and forms are provided in Hebrew. If you don’t speak Hebrew seeking assistance from a Hebrew speaker is recommended.
- As of receipt of the application, all communication regarding the application is made between the authority and the recognized bodies only.
