Register for national-civic service
Use this service to register for national-civic service and complete the volunteer preferences questionnaire.
Who can register
If you have are not required to serve military national service you may be able to register to volunteer for national-civic service.
In order to register you must be:
- An Israeli citizen or permanent resident.
- Exempt from military national service, in accordance with the Defence Service Law (consolidated version), 5746 (1986), including those not called for service (minorities).
How to register
Fill in your personal details and your preferences for national-civic service.
You can only submit the form once. After submitting the questionnaire form, you will receive an email response with an additional form. If you are interested in making changes to your preferences or personal details, you can use this form up to 5 times.
This service is free of charge.

You must fill in and submit the online volunteer questionnaire form in order to register for national-civic service.
Registering for national-civic service does not guarantee that you will be accepted. Your questionnaire will be sent to all the recognized bodies, according to your preferences, to match you with a suitable placement.
You must meet all the necessary requirements in order to find a placement for your national-civic service.
