Who can apply
Adults who have completed full military service or national-civic service.
What you need
- A photocopy of your ID card including the appendix with your address.
- A photocopy of your IDF reserves card or completion of service certificate (military or national civic service).
- You can order a certificate from the IDF online – accessible on the Chrome browser or from mobile phone browsers.
- Confirmation from the authorized authority to participate in the shooting range supervisor training course.
- A completed health declaration signed by your family doctor.
The photograph for your firearms license will be taken at the shooting range.
License fee
NIS 61 per year or part of a year. The license fee will be determined based the duration of validity.
The license is valid for up to 3 years.
How to apply
- Contact a senior shooting instructor.
- Print out the application for a shooting range supervisor license and fill it in by hand.
- Send the completed form together with the required documents to the senior shooting instructor for authorization from the relevant authority.
- Your license will be issued after you have completed your training and have paid the license fee.
- You can receive the license at the Licensing Bureau, by post or from the senior shooting instructor.
