Use this service to renew an organizational firearm license (for security guards) before it expires.

Complete and print form

You can renew an organizational firearm license (for security guards) as early as three months before it expires and up until the expiry date.
The license will only be renewed after the license fee has been paid.

Three months before the license expiry date, you will receive a text message or email reminding you to renew the license. Remember, renewal of the license is the responsibility of the license holder. You must complete the renewal process before your license expires.
Pay the license fee - NIS 61 per year or part of a year. You must print and keep the payment confirmation and bring it to the shooting range with the other required documents.
Print the license renewal forms, including the following:
- Health declaration: your family doctor must sign the health declaration.
- Temporary license and appendix.
- Confirmation of training (to be completed at the shooting range)
- Referral for mental fitness check required every six years. If you have been checked within the last six years, you are exempt from this check, and the referral form will appear without the referral number.
Take all the required documents to the shooting range for professional training, as instructed by your employer.

Reservists with an ‘Active Reservist’ card are entitled to a discount of 50% of the license fee, on condition that the license is renewed by the date specified.
If you are no longer employed as an armed security guard, you do not need to renew your organizational firearms license.

On arrival at the shooting range, you must submit the confirmation of payment and the required documents to the shooting range manager in order to verify details and receive training.
Your license photo will be taken at the shooting range. You should be prepared for this.
Your temporary license, received with the renewal forms or at the licensing office, will only become valid after it has been signed by the shooting range. The temporary license is valid for the whole license period.
The permanent license will be sent to the address you provided, once the license renewal process has been completed. If you did not specify a postal address, the license will be sent to the address shown in the Population Register.
