This service enables the new immigrant or a returning resident to submit a request for an acclimation year
Detailed Explanation
New immigrants or returning residents (in accordance with the determination by the Tax Authority) can choose to have their first year considered as an acclimation and settling in year for the purpose of the directive of the income tax.
Starting from the date of receiving the status, new immigrants or returning residents will be eligible for all types of assistance administered by the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration. If at the end of their first year, they decide to remain in Israel, they will receive the status of residents of Israel in accordance with the income tax directive.

- Copy of Identity card ("te'udat zehut")

Submitting the Form
- It is necessary to complete filling in all of the details in the online form within 90 days from the date of receiving the status, to attach the required documents, and at the end send the form.
- After sending the form, you will receive an automatic notice that the form was sent.
- One can submit the request form only once.
