Maintenance Scholarships for Student Olim for the 2022-2023 Academic Year

The Student Authority at the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Public Trustee at the Ministry of Justice are honored to award maintenance scholarships to student olim in appreciation of a generous donation made by Kurt E. Rittermann, New York, USA.

Applications for the maintenance scholarship must be submitted by May 21, 2023.

Prior to submitting the application it is recommended to review the instructions in the user manual and the document detailing the types of documents required.

The scholarships will be granted based on the scholarship eligibility criteria and as determined by the Student Authority. The scholarship will be given to a limited number of students according to their financial and personal standing.

Below are the eligibility requirements for this scholarship:

• You receive assistance from the Student Authority for the 2022-2023 academic year
• No more than 4 years have passed from the day your status changed to "Oleh" up to the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year (October 2022)
• You are studying and receiving tuition from the Student Authority in the 2022-2023 academic year that amounts to 50% or more of the annual tuition and no less than 5,000 NIS

Students who meet the criteria will be eligible for a maintenance scholarship in the amount of 5,000 NIS in addition to the tuition scholarship from the Student Authority. 

Please note that income from the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Ministry of Defense should not be included in the calculation of income (except for income from "Keva" service salary).

Students who are eligible for a maintenance scholarship cannot receive more than one from the Student Authority (by virtue of Temporary Order 403).
