To protect your health during the coronavirus crisis, you can apply to file a complaint with the police online. You can also file a complaint in person at a police station.
Who can file a complaint online
If you cannot, or prefer not to leave your home to file a complaint at a police station during the coronavirus crisis, you can file a complaint online. You need to be registered to GovID first.
In an emergency, call 100.
How to file a complaint
- Register to GovID, the Government Identification System
- Log in to GovID
- Enter the online complaint form
- Complete and submit the form
Technical support
If you have a cannot enter the form or have any other difficulty, call the Government Central Support Center on 1299 during working hours and request a link to a secure form by text or email.
You can also call the police help center on 03-5677177.
What happens next
After filing the complaint, you’ll get a text message (SMS) and email update (if you’ve agreed to get updates by electronic means).
If necessary, a police investigator will contact you to further investigate your complaint.
Please note: filing an online complaint does not constitute a formal complaint until the process is completed by a police investigator.
