Apply for a security services corporation licence

• The completed security services corporation form.
• A copy of each of the corporation managers’ and owners’ ID and appendix.
• Each of the corporation managers’ and owners’ resumes.
• A copy of the Companies Registrar registration document.
• The Companies Registrar report indicating the corporation managers’ and owners’ identity. The report must be up-to-date for the month in which the application is being submitted.
• Receipt of payment.

You must pay the security services corporation licence fee after receiving your licence, and when annually renewing your licence.

This services and forms are provided in Hebrew. If you don't speak Hebrew, seeking assistance from a Hebrew speaker is recommended.

1. After your application is processed the licensing committee will make a criminal background check for each of the owners and managers and evaluate your application to decide whether to grant the licence.
2. If the committee is considering to deny the application they will invite the owners and managers to a hearing to hear their reasons and be given the opportunity to respond.
3. If the application is granted, the corporation must purchase 4 million NIS worth of third party insurance  and 2 million NIS worth of professional responsibility. 
4. After purchasing the insurance you must send the committee the insurance coverage confirmation.
5. If the corporation does not intend to use firearms, they can update the licensing committee, and request to reduce the insurance by half. You can update the committee in writing by email, post or fax (see above).
6. Once the committee has received the insurance coverage confirmation you will be sent a payment voucher.
7. Your licence will become valid once you have paid the licence fee.
8. The application handling time is approximately one month.
9. If your licence application is denied, you can appeal the committee’s decision at a magistrate court.
