About Tourism Incubators

• Tourism Incubators provide advice and assistance to small and medium businesses in the tourism sector. The incubators are made up of government and non-government bodies including the Ministries of Tourism, Agriculture, The Ministry of Economy and Industry Small Business Authority Business Development Centers, The Center for Economic Development units, and local non-governmental tourism enterprises.
• Each incubator is led by the incubator coordinator, who is either a regional Center for Economic Development unit manager, or a local non-governmental tourism enterprise manager.

Receiving assistance from the Tourism Incubators

• Tourism entrepreneurs can present their ideas and plans to the incubator leadership team, which includes representatives from Ministries of Tourism and Agriculture, a local non-governmental tourism enterprise, and the local authority.
• The leadership team sets an assistance plan for each entrepreneur, refers them to professional assistance and advice in the relevant field.
• The leadership team, led by the incubator coordinator, continues to follow and assist the project throughout all the stages of development until operation.
• In the initial stages, a professional advisor evaluates the project and helps in planning or assessing the financial feasibility of the project. In later stages, they continue to provide guidance until the project is realized.

Assistance fee

• The entrepreneur contributes 25 percent of the professional advisor's fee.
• Financial assistance for projects is provided by designated funds from the local authorities and banks.
