Submit an economic feasibility evaluation for hotels
Entrepreneurs who have applied, met all conditions and been asked to conduct an economic feasibility study of a hotel enterprise can use this service to make and submit an economic feasibility evaluation for hotels.
- Entrepreneurs or companies, who are interested in a receiving 'Approved Enterprise' status for a tourist project, need to update the Ministry of Tourism regarding the nature of the project, so that the ministry can assess its economic feasibility.
- Entrepeneurs can use the the economic feasibility evaluation system to make an economic feasability evaluation and submit it for assessment to the Ministry of Tourism.
- You must first register to the system
- Examples of projects include construction, restoration, improvement, conversion, renovation of hotel rooms or establishment of tourists attractions.

- Economic surveys submitted without payment confirmation will not be processed.
- This service and forms are provided in Hebrew. If you don't speak Hebrew, seeking assistance from a Hebrew speaker is recommended.
- Pay the application fee specified in the economic model table (see below).
You can pay by bank deposit or transfer to postal bank account number 00242717. The transfer details must include the corporation name and number.
- Download, print and complete the request to access the economic feasibility evaluation software form.
- Send the application form, together with the confirmation of payment by fax to 02-6664453 or by email to [email protected].
- You must confirm that the documents have been received by telephone: 02-6664390/91 or 02-6664384/94.
- You will receive a personal access code to use the economic model (see below) from a Ministry of Tourism Economics Department representative.
- Enter the the economic feasibility evaluation system.
- Complete the economic model and the attached appendix to the economic survey form.
- After completing the economic model and the appendix, email them to [email protected] or post them to the Economic Department at the Ministry of Tourism.
- You may be required to submit additional or missing information. If so, you must provide the information and make sure it is recieved within 3 work days.
- You will receive a notification when the economic feasibility evaluation has been assessed.

As part of the evaluation process, you are required to conduct the economic survey in order to assess the project's profitability to the economy and yourself.
The economic survey is a key parameter in the Tourism Investment Administration's decision making process for granting or denying 'Approved Enterprise' status. (see amendment no. 66 to the Encouragement of Capital Investment Law).
In order to examine investment plans and project feasibility, the ministry has developed a model for assessing the economic feasibility of investments in tourism.
You can access and use the model after completing the application stages and receiving an access code (see above).
