Apply for a special humanitarian stay permit
Use this service to apply for a stay permit in Israel for special humanitarian reasons.
Who can apply
- Minorities who wish to apply for family reunification for humanitarian reasons
- If the person for who wishes to apply is currently required to remain in the custody of a population and immigration facility, the application can be submitted by their Attorney-in-fact.
What you need
- 3 identical, current, color passport photos, taken on a plain, light background, sized 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm.
- Relevant documents supporting the application and a letter of explanation.
- Verification of the applicants details in the population registry.
Service fee
The service fee is according to the applicant's status.
- The person making the application must apply in person, or if they are currently required to remain in the custody of a population and immigration facility, the application can be submitted by their Attorney-in-fact.
- Print and complete the Request for stay permit for special humanitarian reasons application form (Heb) and submit it in person, together with the required documents to your local Population and Immigration offices.
