Extend a foreign athlete's stay permit

Sport groups / clubs can use this service to extend foreign athletes stay permits.

Get the form

You'll need:

your ID
a letter of explanation from the sports group
a photocopy of the athlete's foreign passport
2 current passport photos of the athlete, printed on photo paper and 3.5 centimeters (cm) wide by 4.5cm high
health insurance
a declaration not to cancel the health insurance.

You may be asked to submit additional documents.

How to apply

Download, print and complete the application for the extension of permit of residence/change of visa category

The inviting sports group must submit the application and required documents, on behalf of the athlete requiring the stay permit extension, to a Population and Immigration Authority office.
