Apply for an entry visa for residents returning to Israel
Permanent residents can use this service to apply for an entry visa if they are interested in exiting and returning to Israel, or if they are currently abroad and interested in entering Israel.
Who can apply
Permanent Israeli residents or applicants who have been naturalized abroad.
What you need
- Your ID card and appendix.
- Your foreign passport, valid for at least 6 months beyond the requested visa’s expiration date, or an Israeli laissez passer (travel document).

Pay online
- You need to pay for each service individually, and not as part of a payment basket.
- You can only pay with a credit card owned by an Israeli citizen or resident.
How to apply
- Download, print and fill in the Israel entry visa application form.
- Submit the application in person, together with the required documents at your local Population and Immigration office or your nearest Israeli mission abroad.
- The entry visa will be valid for three years.
