Search for information on The Israeli Drug Registry
This service allows users to search for information about medications registered in the Drug Registry by the Pharmaceutics Division of the Ministry of Health.
What can you find on the Israeli Drug Registry
The Drug Registry contains all the information about the currently registered medications or the medications that were registered in Israel in the past, including details such as medication administration methods (e.g., tablet or syrup), medical indications, packaging type, symptoms, potential side effects, consumer information leaflets and pricing.
How to search the registry
You can search by brand name in Hebrew or English and by symptom (of off-the-counter drugs) or use a smart search by active ingredient with filters.
Checking for drug shortages in the market
- Information on drugs that are off the market appears in the database of drug marketing discontinuation of the Ministry of Health.
- You can also contact the drug company whose details appear on the package.
Reporting side effects and seek counselling regarding drug administration
- For personal counselling, contact your physician.
- You may notify the Ministry of Health of side effects that appeared due to drug intake using the Side Effects Reporting Form.
- As for drug intake during pregnancy, contact the National Center of Teratology Information Specialists to seek information about exposure to environmental factors during pregnancy.
