Request a population registry extract
Israeli citizens and residents can use this service to receive an official document with population registry details.
Who can request thier population registry extract
- Israeli citizens and residents currently residing in Israel. Israeli citizens residing outside Israel can contact their local Israel mission.
- You can request the extract for yourself or for your children, if they are under 18 years old.
What you need
- Your ID number and personal details.
- The ID number and personal details of the person whose extract you are requesting.
- If the request is being made for children over 18 years old or for a first degree family member, you must submit power-of-attorney and the family member's ID card.
- If the request is being made for a family member who is not first degree or for another person, you must submit power-of-attorney, authorized by a lawyer or a court order.
The service is free of charge
How to apply
- Fill out the online population registry extract form and submit it.
- You can also print the form, and submit it to a Population and Immigration Authority office or aplly at general self-service stands located across the country.
You must state on the form the reasons for requesting the extract, and if you need specific information, such as, previous listed addresses or family members.
When applying online, the extract will be issued within 5 work days and sent to your registered address by Israel Post.
Fill in the population registry extract form and submit it online or print the form and fill it in and submit it to a Population and Immigration Authority office.

You can submit the form at self-service stands situated at the Population and Immigration Authority offices or around the country.

You can submit the form in person or to service boxes at the Population and Immigration Authority offices.
