Application for Review of a Court Case File
This service is intended for persons who are not parties to a court case and who wish to file an application to review documents included in a case.
Any person who is not a party to a court case may file an application to review documents in the case file.
The application will be forwarded to the judge presiding over the case, and permission to review the file will be granted solely in accordance with a judicial ruling.
- The following details must be completed in the application:
- The case number and the name of the Court in which review is requested
- A detailed explanation of the reasons for the application for review
- Full details of the applicants, including identification number, corporation number, attorney license number, email address and mobile phone number
- Full details of the parties to the case
Online
- The form should be completed online and click "send"
- Technical assistance in filing the application may be obtained from the Information and Service Center of the Courts Administration.
By mail
The application form may be printed, completed, and sent by mail to the address of the Court or the Labor Court in which the case is being conducted.
By fax
- The application form may be sent by fax to the relevant Court Secretariat or Labor Court Secretariat.
In person
- The application form may be completed and filed at any Court Secretariat or Labor Court Secretariat within the district in which the case is being conducted.

- The application will be forwarded to the relevant Court or Labor Court.
- In some Courts and Labor Courts, it is possible to schedule an appointment with the public reception desk of the Court Secretariat.
- In some Courts and Labor Courts, volunteer stations are available to provide technical assistance in completing the form.
- Upon receipt of the application form, the application will be forwarded for a judicial ruling, and authorization to review the file shall be granted solely in accordance with the judicial ruling.
- If the judge approves the application, the applicants will be granted access to the court file in accordance with the terms set out in the ruling.
- The status of processing the application may be checked in the Net HaMishpat system, which may be accessed using the National Identification System or a smart card.

The filed form will appear in the personal area in Net HaMishpat only after it has been received and recorded by the Court Secretariat, starting from the end of the business day following the day of filing, as follows:
- Log in to the personal area in Net HaMishpat using the National Identification System
- On the top bar, enter the case number and click the “Find” button
- If the case number is unknown, click the “Find Cases” tab, select “My Cases,” and search for the relevant case
- After entering the case, all case documents will be displayed on the right-hand panel
- Once the application has been recorded in the case file by the Court Secretariat, it will appear under the “Applications and Instructions” tab (if it does not appear there, check the “Paper File” tab according to the date of online filing
- Upon completion of filing, a confirmation number (reference) will be issued.
- The applicant should then wait for a judicial ruling, it is possible to check whether a judicial ruling has been handed down by login to Net HaMishpat using the National Identification System or a smart card, entering the case number on the top bar, and clicking “Find.” Then the case may be reviewed.
- If the case number is forgotten or unknown, click the “Find Cases” tab, select “My Cases,” enter a date range and select the relevant case from the list
- After entering the case, folders will appear on the right-hand side. Enter the “Paper File” folder to view all documents in the case, including rulings.
Receipt of the mail by the Court should be tracked and after the end of the business day following the date of receipt, the processing status of the application may be tracked in Net HaMishpat as follows:
- If an email address was updated in the application, update notifications from the Court will be sent there
- To read the messages, click the link in the email, which will lead to Net HaMishpat. Log in using the National Identification System. An envelope icon will appear next to the ID number; clicking it will open messages from the Court
- Another way to check the processing of the application on the Net HaMishpat website after logging in using the National Identification System:
- Click the “Find Cases” tab and select “My Cases.”
- Select a date range for the search.
- A list will be displayed, from which the relevant case may be selected; click the case number to review the case and verify whether a ruling has been handed down therein.
- After the end of the business day following filing, the Information and Service Center of the Courts Administration may be contacted to confirm receipt of the fax.
- Later, the status of processing the application may be tracked in Net HaMishpat in accordance with the instructions set out above for online filing.
The Information and Service Center of the Courts Administration may be contacted during its operating hours to obtain additional information and to follow up on the processing of the application.
