Remote Sign Language Interpretation Service
The Ministry of Health Hotline provides a remote interpretation service via the SignNow App for people who can sign. This service allows interpretation in real time between the deaf or hearing-impaired person and a healthcare professional over video conferencing.

About this service
- The service is designed to facilitate the communication between people who are deaf or hearing impaired and healthcare providers in Israel, including the Ministry of Health, the HMOs, hospitals, institutions and private practices of physicians and healthcare professionals
- Online remote sign language interpretation services can be used while receiving treatment (medical, psychological, para-medical) from such professionals as physicians, psychologists, speech and language therapists, physical therapists and occupational therapists.
Who is eligible for this service?
All Israeli citizens are eligible; the service is currently provided only in Hebrew.

Service times
The remote sign language interpretation service is available:
- Sunday–Thursday 08:00–20:00
- Fridays and holiday eves 08:00-13:00
How to activate the service?
- Make sure a camera and a microphone are plugged in to the desktop computer
- Visit https://video.signnow.co.il/link/f2a8. You do not need to download an app
- Check the terms of use, and wait for an interpreter to log in
- The service requires having a mobile phone or desktop computer
