Palestinians (residents of the Judea and Samaria region) with an Israeli A/5 temporary residency permits can apply for an exit permit to travel abroad and return through international airports.
How to apply
- Apply online about 30 days before your departure date to give enough time to handle your application.
- On your application, you’ll need to estimate the scope of your travel and provide details on planned trips during your permit period. Significant changes from your stated travel plan may affect future applications.
- Your application will go through a security screening.
- If your application is approved, it’ll be valid for 90 days
What happens next
- You’ll get an email of approval or denial.
- If you haven’t got an email response within 21 days, contact us online to check the status of your application.
- If your application is denied, you can appeal to the Jerusalem Court of Appeals within 30 days. You can apply again after one year.
Notes
- You must have and Inter-Visa to return to Israel.
- You can apply and pay for an inter-visa at the authority visa department closest to your place of residence with a credit card. You can also pay for the inter-visa online.
- You can travel freely through other international border crossings without this permit, except international airports unless there are legal restrictions preventing you, such as delay of exit orders from court.
