Notice of tax-free transfer of assets to company (form 1512)
The purpose of this service is to report to the tax authorities any transfer of assets to a company, pursuant to article 104g of the Income Tax Ordinance, in circumstances that are likely to result in tax exemption. It also enables you to apply for the exemption.
Who can file the application
Any person transferring an asset to a company, within the third chapter of part E2 of the Income Tax Ordinance.
What to add
Form 1512d – Calculation of the initial price of shares allotted in exchange for the asset contribution.
Form 1513 – Application for approval of a tax-free transfer of an asset between sister companies.
Price of the service
This service is subject to the payment of a fee as it involves a request for prior approval from the manager (similar to a merger).
Payment
Payment via the tax assessment system.
How to file the application
The tax assessor must be informed of any conditions that may be considered for tax exemption.
A request for approval of the tax exemption must be submitted via the tax assessment system and a fee must be paid.
