Application for an Exemption from Payment of Court Fees or Deposit Due to Lack of Financial Means
This service enables persons who are unable to pay a court fee or deposit to apply to the court for an exemption from this payment, so that they may exercise their right to apply to the court.
The service is intended for anyone who wishes to file a claim or an application with the court but does not have the financial means to pay the required fee or deposit.

- An affidavit in the format prescribed in the Regulations
- Documents supporting the facts stated in the application and in the affidavit
A fee must be paid for the affidavit.
Online – Attorneys only
- Attorneys may submit the application via the Net HaMishpat:
- By logging in via the National Identification System or a smart card, using the “Quick Submission” button

The Form and the documents listed in the “Required Documents" section must be attached, with a total size of up to 30 MB.
In person
- The application may be submitted at the public service desk of the secretariat of the relevant court, according to the applicant’s registered address.
- It is possible to schedule an appointment with the public reception desk of some of the courts secretariats, through the GoVisit website
- At some of the courts there is a volunteer desk for technical assistance in filling out forms
Via fax
It is not possible to file the application via fax.

Upon completion of submission, a confirmation number (reference number) will be received, which enables tracking of the processing of the application and obtaining the case number, in two ways:
- Under the “Track My Submissions” tab
- Recent submissions, their confirmation numbers, and their processing status may be viewed
- The status of processing of the application must be checked
- This may be done after the end of the business day following submission of the Form.
On the top menu bar of the website under the “Submissions” tab:
- Clicking the tab opens a window in which “Find Submissions by Reference Number” must be selected.
- Enter the confirmation number (reference number) in the designated field and click “Find” on the bottom left of the page
- The status of processing of the application will be displayed. It is required to check the status of processing of the application
- This may be done after the end of the business day following submission. The case number will be displayed there:
- Using the case number, the case may be viewed by clicking the number
- After entering the case, the folders within it will appear on the right side
- Upon completion of submission, a confirmation number (reference number will be issued, with which it is possible to check the progress of processing of the application
- It is possible to check whether notifications or rulings have been issued in the case via the Net HaMishpat website
- Loggin via the National Identification System or a smart card
- On the top menu bar, enter the case number, click “Find,” and the case may then be viewed
- If the case number is forgotten or unknown:
- click the “Find Cases” tab and select “My Cases,” enter a date range, and a list of cases will be displayed, from which the relevant case may be selected
- After entering the file, folders will appear on the right side. Enter the “Paper File” folder, which contains all documents in the case, including judicial rulings
