Issuing a copy of a driver’s license
This service allows users to issue a copy (duplicate) of a driver’s license in case the license has been lost, stolen, or damaged, or in the case of a change of name on their Teudat Zehut, an update to the category on the driving license, or an address update.
• If your driving license has been lost or stolen - in addition to submitting this application, you must notify Israel Police
• If your driving license was damaged

• After updating the category on the driver’s license - wait until you receive a message notifying you that the added category has been authorized
• After updating your address - in addition to submitting this application, you must update the new address at the Population Authority; the information will be updated automatically at the Transport Ministry
Young people who are new drivers do not need to issue a duplicate license before making a declaration regarding the end of the accompaniment period; after the declaration, a permanent (plastic) driver’s license will be sent to the up-to-date address on file at the Population Authority.
