Locating Photo Stations that Provides Services for the Ministry of Transport
This service provides information about Ministry of Transport photo stations that take pictures and perform eye exams to produce an Israeli or international driver’s license.
An eye exam will be performed by a licensed optometrist for the Licensing Authority to determine visual competency to drive a vehicle and based on the requested class of license.

What to bring to the photo station
An ID or passport.
Minors under the age of 16 will approach the photo station accompanied by one parent, with the parent’s ID including the rider.
Payment
- No payment is required for the photo.
The fee for replacing a photo on a driver’s license is NIS 11 at the photo station. - Payment for the vision test should be made at the photo station
Obtaining a Driver’s License
At the end of the process of obtaining a driver’s license, the permanent driver’s license will be sent via the Israeli post office to the updated address in the Population Authority.
What to bring to the photo station
Identifying document: ID card, passport or driver’s license.
Please note, an international driver's license cannot be issued through a proxy.
Payment
- For producing a photo for an international license, payment of NIS 11 per photo and in Eilat the fee is NIS 9.40 (VAT not included).
The fee for replacing a photo on a driver’s license is NIS 11 at the photo station and NIS 9.40 in Eilat (VAT not included). - Payment for the vision test should be made at the photo station
