Submit a declaration of a spouse remaining abroad for the import of goods for new immigrants or returning residents – form 142
If you are a new immigrant or returning resident entitled to import goods free of tax, and your husband or wife still abroad, you can submit a declaration to allow them to bring in goods without paying tax, on your behalf.
Who needs to submmit the declaration
If you are a new immigrant or returning resident, you can submit the declaration to get the same import benefits that you are entitled to.
To submit the declaration:
- complete the declaration form including your and your spouses details
- get it signed by a notary or Israeli consulate
- submit it to the customs officer at the Personal Import Unit
