Reporting in the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) portal in accordance with the FATCA, CRS and-CBC standards
This service for entities and financial institutions required to report under international information exchange standards or ITA guidelines. Current portal standards: FATCA, CRS, and CBC. Includes XML transmission, tracking, updating entity details, and cessation of activity.
Who can use the portal
Anyone defined by the reporting entity as a "transmitter".
Who is a transmitter?
The entity's representative who was approved by the entity through Form 227 (attached to this page), signed in accordance with the guidelines.
The form will include the following data:
- The role of the signatory and full signatures.
- The name of the transmitter chosen by the entity.
- The contact person's details.
- A specification of whether the approval is given to a transmitter or to an employee of a transmitting body.
Upon uploading the signed form and its approval to the portal, the representative will be considered a "transmitter" for the entity and will be authorized to report, update, and view all relevant details of the entity.
The service is free of charge.
How to apply
- The representatives of the Israeli financial institution must carry a government-issued smart card. The smart card can be purchased from COMSIGN or PERSONAL ID.
- After identifying at the Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) portal, using the smart card, an initial registration must be eprformed, after which the report file can be attached in XML format in accordance with the agreement set out in the CRS standard.
What happens next
Once the report has been transmitted, feedback will be received on its accuracy.
