A request to coordinate an appointment for receiving information about taxes, business entrepreneurship and financial issues for new olim and returning residents
This service enables new olim and returning residents to coordinate a discussion or meeting about tax concessions with an accountant who specializes in taxation, or with a small-business advisor to discuss business entrepreneurship and financial issues.
New immigrants and returning residents can receive significant tax concessions via the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration and the Tax Authority.
Who can apply
- New immigrants.
- Returning residents who have lived abroad for at least ten consecutive years (Toshav Hozer Vatik)
Tax benefits
For new immigrants and residents returning after living abroad for at least ten years
- Exemption from tax for ten years from the date of immigration to Israel, on all income generated or accrued outside of Israel, including: salary, business, work and occupation, interest, dividends, rent, royalties and capital gains from the sale of assets abroad.
- An Acclimation and Adjustment year in which you will not be required to pay Income Tax. To receive the Acclimation and Adjustment year, you must complete the application within 90 days of the date of immigration or return to Israel.
- Exemption from tax on assets and new activities outside of Israel.
Support for business
For new immigrants and all returning citizens
- Support and assistance in relocating businesses to Israel, establishing new businesses in Israel and supporting existing businesses.
- This includes: business consulting, preparing a business plan, the receipt of loans with preferential terms, business mentoring and consultancy, participation in courses both in Israel and abroad.
Who can apply
- New immigrants, up to 10 years from the date of receiving the new immigrant status.
- Returning residents, up to 2 years from the date of receiving the new returning resident status.
