Admissions Committees in Daycare Centers, for the 5785 (2025–2026) School Year
This service allows parents to register online for the recognized daycare admissions committees for the 5786 (2025-2026) school year
Registration has ended. It is possible to submit a completion form (Parent 2) until the date 21.05.2025. After this date, submission of the form will no longer be possible.
Daycare admissions committees are the second stage in the registration process, at the end of which children will be ranked according to established priority criteria. After the results of the admissions committees are published, if your child has been accepted and you have completed the registration with the daycare management, you may submit an application for participation in tuition fees. If your child has not been accepted, they will be placed on the waiting list for admission to the daycare, in case other parents cancel their registration. You can also search for another recognized daycare through the Locating a Recognized Setting website
To register for the admissions committees, an application must first be opened.
- For the current school year, when both parents share a joint household, both are required to approve the transfer of data from the National Insurance Institute.
- Parent 1 is the parent who submits the application for daycare registration.
- Parent 2 is the spouse, who only needs to approve the transfer of data from National Insurance after Parent 1 has submitted the application.

What application would you like to submit?
- Application for registration to the admissions committees - form for the registering parent (Parent 1)
- Application for registration to the admissions committees - form for Parent 2
If you submit an application to the admissions committee, we will be able to evaluate your eligibility for admission to the daycare. Submitting an application is required for anyone who wishes to have their request reviewed.
- If an application is not submitted to the admissions committees, it will not be possible to evaluate the child's placement in the daycare, and the application will be rejected.
- The date the form is submitted does not affect the outcome, as long as it is sent during the admissions committees period—registration is not based on a "first come, first served" system.
- The admissions committees apply to every daycare that has an official symbol.
Who can submit the application?
The application can only be submitted by parents who have registered with a recognized daycare and have received notification regarding the need to determine priorities among the children at the daycare to which they have registered. Only the parent who completed the daycare registration may open an application to the Admissions Committee.

What to include with the application:
• During the application process, you can upload the required documents as requested at each stage of the application form.
• Before submitting the application, you will be able to view the list of documents.
• To facilitate the submission of multiple documents, you can confirm the data that will be presented by the National Insurance Institute
• Documents can be attached to an existing application only within the published deadlines. Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.
• Children whose parents do not submit all documents will not receive an eligibility rank, and their acceptance into the program will be based on available space.
The service is provided free of charge
How to submit the application:
- Before filling out the application form, identification through the national identification system is required.
- Parent 1 must complete the form for the registering parent (Parent 1), after which Parent 2 will complete the corresponding Parent 2 form
- If the daycare you registered with requires prioritization among the children, the parents will receive a notification with a link to an online questionnaire.
Please note: It is possible to visit the various Population Authority offices to extend the validity of a biometric ID card (this service will be provided without the need to book an appointment).
We emphasize that walk-ins without an appointment are only for the purpose of extending the validity of an ID card, and not for renewing an ID card.
For holders of non-biometric ID cards that have expired, a notice has been sent by the Population Authority regarding an extension of validity until January 2026.
Completion of determining the order of priorities and notification of the placement results
• Admissions committees will be held in April-May 2025
• Towards the end of June 2025, after the process is complete, you will receive a notification of the results of the priority orders at the daycare
• Admission to the daycare will be carried out according to the 2 priorities you selected during the registration stage for the daycare
• If you have received notification that your child has been accepted to the daycare, you must continue the registration process directly with the daycare management
