Regulation & Enforcement Administration

The Labor Laws Regulation and Enforcement Administration works to implement the provisions of the labor laws in the State of Israel. The labor laws relied on by the Labor Law Enforcement Division are protective laws that constitute the legal infrastructure of the labor market in Israel. The purpose of these laws is to set a minimum level of protection and to determine social rights for employees.

As mentioned, the protection is expressed in the determination of working conditions, which come to ensure the dignity of the person, his capacity for self-fulfillment, equality, distributive justice and more.

Goals and duties of the Administration:

  Increasing employers' and employees' awareness of the provisions of labor laws that are the responsibility of the Administration.
