Supplier invoice details verification based on allocation number
This service allows dealers and all those who have received their authorization, to verify through an allocation number, that the supplier's invoicing data matches the data that the supplier has declared to the tax authorities.
The model of Israel invoicing aims to address fictitious invoices causing losses of billions of shekels to the state revenues every year. As part of the model and in line with the Economic Efficiency Law 2023 (legislative changes to meet budget targets for fiscal years 2023 and 2024), it has been determined that as of January 1, 2024, the tax authorities will issue allocation numbers for tax invoices issued to customers registered as authorized dealers, via an online system. These allocation numbers are a requirement for deducting input tax on transactions exceeding the threshold set by law (NIS 20,000 for 2025), 10,000 starting January 1, 2026 and 5,000 NIS starting June 1, 2026.
