Apply for a wireless equipment trade license
Use this service to handle applications related to a trade license and dealing with wireless equipment, including: new licenses, updating, renewing and terminating wireless equipment activity according to the Telegraph Ordinance.
According to the Telegraph Ordinance, anyone who deals in the field of wireless equipment with technical properties that do not match any of the conditions outlined in the Wireless Telegraph Regulations (Match Certificates), 2021, must hold a trade and occupation license.
A trade license permits activities including: buying, selling, maintenance, renting, borrowing, importing, manufacturing or holding, as well as development, expansion, and integration, both paid and unpaid.
Note
Trade licenses are valid until December 31 of the second after being issued or renewed.
New or renewed license

- You can pay through the Government Payment Service (notification of payment will be sent by registered post upon receipt of all required documents).
Please note: Payments made to the state are usually not subject to VAT, therefore the state is not required to issue a tax invoice (there is no VAT component). Recognition of these expenses may be required as the case may be and in accordance with the Income Tax Ordinance.
There is no fee for:
- updating or expanding a license
- notifications of termination of activity
Online application
- Complete the online wireless equipment trade and occupation license application, attach the required documents and submit.
- The holder of a trade and occupation license shall be subject to the obligations set forth in Regulation 8C of the Wireless Telegraph Regulations (Licenses, Certificates and Fees), 5747-1987.
- The processing time for the application is about 14 working days, if the forms are submitted correctly.
- You'll receive an email with a copy of your application and reference number.
