Who can apply
You can apply if:
- you’re over 18 and
- you don’t have any serious criminal or traffic offenses
What you need
You’ll need your:
- Population Registry extract
- the application fee payment receipt. there are no refunds, even if you don’t get the license
- 2 current passport photos

Pay at a post office. You can get a payment voucher there, or from the Taxi Committee office

What happens next
- It takes about 2 months to approve applications, and you may be invited to the committee
- Approved applications are forwarded to the taxi section manager who will issue your license. You’ll get a license fee voucher within 2 months. Fees are updated every quarter.
You’ll need:
- a certified copy of the corporation’s certificate of registration
- a certified copy from the Register of Companies or the Registrar of Associations detailing the corporation owners or, and authorized signatories
- an approved copy of the corporation's decision to apply for a taxi license

If a a taxi license holder has died, you need to transfer the rights according to probate – execution of will order or inheritance order.
Contact the Taxi and Transport Division on 074-7796168.
After arranging the right and obtaining approval from the Taxi and Transportat Division, you’ll need to go to the licensing office to issue the license.
- Taxi license and "green" number
- Transfer of ownership of the vehicle from the holder of the operating license to the owner of the taxi. Deletion of operating license from the license of the vehicle.
