Who is required to submit the declaration

Importers who declare on commercial imports, with a value exceeding $5,000 in one import declaration, except for importers who received a special exemption.

What should be attached to the declaration

• A copy of the supplier's invoice. (At this point it is not required).
• Contracts or agreements with suppliers.(At this point it is not required).

How to submit the declaration

Fill out the Periodic Importer Declaration Form online, attach the required documents submit.

 In order to sign you must do the following steps:

1. The identification method:

• Login by national identification:
  • Resident of Israel - requires prior registration (link to video explaining registration for national identification)
  • Private company - requires prior registration of the definition of signature authorizations in the corporation (link to a video explaining the authorization process in the business area)
  • Login using a smart card
  • For further explanations, you can enter the guide for entering the form with national identification
• others: You can fill out the importer's affidavit (requires a digital signature with a smart card, or filling out the form and sending it to the customs agent who will submit it to customs on your behalf)

2. If there is a valid importer's affidavit and a new importer's affidavit is received, the existing affidavit will become expired and the new affidavit will be valid for one year.

3. Fill in the details in the appropriate fields in the computerized form.

An importer with no government identification or smart card (such as autonomy, public company, foreign resident) must fill out the following form: Importer affidavit by Supplier.
