Here you can find information on storing sperm for purposes other than sperm donation.
What are the reasons for storing sperm
You can store your sperm for the following reasons:
- You are interested in storing sperm following a malignant or systemic disease.
- You are interested in storing sperm due to sperm quality that does not allow for natural fertilization (OTA).
- You need testicular tissue as part of external fertility treatments.
- You are interested in storing sperm for non-medical reasons.
- You are interested in storing sperm for use in case of death.
Where to store sperm
You can have your sperm stored (not for donation purposes) at sperm banks that are recognized by the Ministry of Health (HE).
- Sperm storage for medical reasons (such as cancer and radiation) is paid by your HMO.
