You can contact the MoT accounting division to update payments and bank details, and to inquire about credit card payments.
You can contact the MoT accounting division as a private individual or as a representative of a company:
- about a payment of a vehicle license fee that was not registered in the system
- to update your bank account details
- to update fee differences
- regarding received or canceled payments
How to apply
- Enter GovID (you may need to register)
- Apply for a refund in fee differences online attaching the relevant documents. You’ll need to combine all the relevant documents and attach them as a single file:
- your driver's license or vehicle number
- confirmations of payment
- receipts
- a copy of a cheque or an account management certificate of the relevant bank account
The service is free of charge
Handling time
- You’ll receive a reply within 5 working days.
- If you are eligible for a refund, it will be paid within 45 working days to the account provided in your application
