Checking for safety recall on a vehicle
This service allows drivers to check for a safety recall on their vehicles.
Online
In the case of a serial safety malfunction on a vehicle, a recall order is made for that vehicle.
The vehicle importer through the Ministry of Transportation will send the vehicle owner a notice of a serial safety recall to perform a repair close to the vehicle manufacturer's notice.
45 days before a block (restriction) appears on the vehicle, you will send another reminder.
According to Regulation 266 (b) (c) and Regulation 277 (10) of the Transport Regulations, 5721-1961, failure to perform the repair within 6 months of the date that notice is sent may lead to the following restrictions:
Renewing the license of the vehicle - the annual test of the vehicle may not be performed and the license of the vehicle may not be renewed. Driving a vehicle without a valid license constitutes a legal offense.
Transfer of ownership - the ownership of the vehicle may not be transferred.
