Concessions on public transport in Israel
| Population | Concession |
|---|---|
| Babies and infants up to 5 years old | Travel for free. They must be accompanied by an adult. |
| Children from 5 to 18 years old or pupils in 12th grade | Half price when loading pre-paid travel cards (such as Rav-Kav). Pupils still in 12th grade can travel for half price even if they are over 18. They must show ID and a pupil card if requested. |
| Senior citizens - Men over 65 and women over 60 | Half price on all types of ticket. They must show ID if requested. The price will rounded to the nearest ten agurot. |
| Police and soldiers | Travel for free when presenting police or soldier ID. |
| National-civic service volunteers | Travel for free after registering. |
| Students | Pay 33% – 50% on pre-paid Rav-Kavs after registering. They must register each new academic year and show valid student ID if requested. |
| Persons with National Insurance Institute eligibility | Pay 33% with a National Insurance eligibility card. |
| Blind and partially sighted people | Travel for free on innercity transport and for half price on inter-city transport. If they are accompanied by a guideץ The guide also travels for the same concessions. They must have the relevant permissions. |
