War Damage Optional Insurance for Household Items

Before we start

• According to the Property Tax and Compensation Fund Law and the accompanying regulations, the household effects of every resident, located in their residential apartment, are insured against war damage, without paying a premium. Compensation is provided up to the maximum amounts according to the type of item, as specified in the regulations.
• Residents who wish to insure their personal effects for a higher value than the amount listed in the regulations can do so, for a fee, using this service.

Cost of the service

• Upon completion of filling in the details, and listing the list of household effects, the premium will be calculated at a rate of 0.3% of the additional value.
• The additional value will not exceed a total of 1,037,100 NIS.
• When filling out the form, you will be directed to make a payment on the payment server.
• After paying the premium, the insurance cannot be canceled.

What is the validity of the insurance?

• The insurance will enter into force after the premium is paid on the payment server.

• The insurance is valid from the date of payment until December 31 of the same year.

Notes

• Art objects, jewelry, antiques and cash - are not insured and no compensation will be provided for them.
• The Tax Authority Compensation Fund reserves the right to review the details of the declaration submitted by residents for the Authority's insurance.

Submitting the application

1. Filling out the online form - Declaration for the purpose of insuring household items - insurance, while filling out the form you will be asked to list the details of your personal belongings and their value according to the categories, and you will be transferred to pay the premium through the payment server.
   - In the payment server you can pay using a credit card or bank transfer.
2. Mail - You can fill out the details in the online form, print it and at the end of the process send it by mail with a receipt for payment to the address: Tax Authority, Compensation Fund, 38 Ben-Gurion St., Ramat Gan.
