Applying for Registration in the Medical Tourism Travel Agents Registry
This online service allows medical tourism travel agents to apply for registration and renew their registration in the Medical Travel Agents Registry.
- Travel agents interested in coordinating medical tourism must register in the Medical Travel Agents Registry in accordance with the Medical Tourism Law, 2018.
- Travel agents employed in a medical tourism corporation must also submit individual applications for registration as agents, in addition to the corporation’s application.
- Registration is valid for four years and can be renewed for an additional four-year term.
Registration fee
Registration is subject to a fee. The fee amount will be announced later.
Fee payment for the registration is required upon application approval.
If the committee has not yet confirmed your registration, failure to pay the registration fee will not delay your registration or inclusion in the registry.
A person interested in registering as a medical tourism travel agent must meet the following conditions:
- Be an Israeli resident or have a representative or a business address in Israel.
- Not be employed by a medical institution in Israel.
- Have no felony convictions that, due to their nature, severity, or circumstances, would disqualify them from acting as a medical tourism travel agent.
- A copy of an identification card or passport.
- Notarized declaration regarding the applicant’s other business activities.
- A notarized declaration confirming the applicant is not currently employed by a medical institution in Israel.
- For non-Israeli residents, one of the following must be provided:
- Representatives’ address in Israel.
- Copy of an identification card.
- Valid passport.
Complete the application form for registration as a medical tourism travel agent, include the required documents, and send them online.
Further application processing
- A written registration approval will be sent to the applicants by mail.
- A fee payment will be required to complete the registration.
- In the event that the application is rejected, the ministry will send a letter explaining the reasons for the rejection.
In any case of a change in any of your contact information, inform the Ministry of Health in writing.
Medical tourism travel agent registrations can be renewed for an additional four-year term.
- To renew the registration, complete the application for registration renewal 90 days prior to registration expiration.
- Please submit the following details:
- An application for registration renewal as a medical tourism travel agent.
- Declaration stating a lack of change in any of your contact information.
- Send the application with any required documents to the Medical Division of the Ministry of Health.
- The Ministry of Health may reject an application at its sole discretion.
- In the event that the application is rejected, the ministry will send a letter explaining the reasons for the rejection.
- Legal recourse and the right to appeal are available.
