How to file the application
A Direct Debit at the tax authorities can be opened in two ways:
- By completing the authorization on the website of the bank where the customer's account is held.
- By sending the direct debit form to a designated department of the tax authorities, either by dropping it off at one of their offices or by email.
What next
The authorization file created on the bank's website in favor of the Tax Authority is sent by the Bank of Israel to the automated processing system for registration. If an authorization established at the customer's bank has not been registered, the required documents may be sent to the designated department (Register of Representatives) at the Tax Authority, by email or by dropping them off at one of the Tax Authority's offices.
The Register of Representatives is responsible for registering account authorizations.
