Income tax advances cancellation or reduction application (Form No. 2216A)
This service allows income tax file holders, who have been charged higher than required income tax advances, to apply for their reduction or cancellation.
Who can apply
Holders of income tax files (taxpayers) who must pay income tax advances, and assume that the tax advance rate in the tax year is higher than the amount of tax that they have to pay, can apply along with attached explanations.
What to attach
Documents which prove the applicants' claims should be attached.

How to apply
To locate the appropriate tax assessing officer:
- Please print Form No. 2216A - an application form for the cancellation or reduction of income tax advances.
- Please complete the form with intelligible handwriting and sign it.
- Submit to the Tax Assessing Office where the represented taxpayer file is managed.
- In the search engine, one should search by the term "Income Tax and Real Property Taxation" Division.
- In the type of office - search by "Tax Assessing Officer".
- In the office - look for the relevant Tax Assessing Officer.
The last day to submit the form, is January 31 of the following tax year.
What happens next
A response will be sent to the applicant.
