Declaration and Commitment of the Officer Applying for Permit for the Import of Cannabis Products or Cannabis Raw Materials
As part of the application for a permit to import a drug, this declaration should be attached to the import application, signed by the importer's director general and the responsible pharmacist.
Who needs to fill the declaration and the commitment?
The declaration and the commitment are intended to be filled by the importer's director general as well as by the responsible pharmacist in an authorized factory for cannabis products who wishes to import to Israel cannabis products or cannabis raw materials for medical purposes or for research purposes.
An import license or permit does not constitute a license to possess, use or deal with cannabis, but only to bring it to Israel. In order to receive a license for possession and use or dealing with imported cannabis, you need to file a request with the Medical Cannabis Unit as detailed in the guidelines for the process for the approval of applications for the import of dangerous drugs of the cannabis type for medical use and for research purposes (Hebrew).
The request can be submitted in the following ways:
- By e-mail to: [email protected]
- By mail, to the following address:
The Ministry of Health, the Medical Cannabis Unit
