Application for registration as an international transport company (form 240)
The service enables you to apply for registration as an international transport company, in order to obtain a license from the customs authorities.
Who can submit the application
Any Israeli citizen domiciled in Israel may apply to register a company as an international transport company, provided that there is at least one responsible forwarding agent in the company and that all the required documents are enclosed.

- Application form for registration as an international transport company.
- Company declaration form indicating its responsibility for shipping operations within the company (form 242).
- Company registration documents at the Registrar of Companies
- The company's statutes at the Registrar of Companies, including shipping operations among its activities.
- A letter detailing the names of the owners of the company, signed by an accountant or a lawyer.
- The responsible forwarding agent in the company will declare whether and to what extent he is employed by another company.
This service is provided free of charge.
How to submit the application
After having fully filled in the required forms and attached the requested information, these must be sent by e-mail to [email protected] in order for them to forward the request to the advisory committee, which gathers once every six months.
