Submit a complaint about misleading advertising of products related to healthcare, medical professions and technologies
Anyone can submit a complaint regarding products advertised as contributing to health, and misleading advertising of medical professionals, such as nutritional supplements, homeopathic products, food and health products, cosmetics, technologies and devices that haven't been approved.

Who may file a complaint?
Any person may submit a complaint about an advertised product presented purported to enhance health; also complain about misleading publications of healthcare or medical professionals.
What to attach
- A letter describing the nature of the compliant and specifying the product, what the advertisement includes, why the advertisement is misleading in your opinion, where the advertisement was made and other details you might have.
- A copy of the advertisement, in any form, including: a recording of the advertisement, a link to a web page where the advertisement was made, a photocopy of the advertisement, a screenshot or any other reproduction of the advertisement.
The service is free of charge.
Types of misleading advertising
The committee works to prevent misleading advertising in the following areas:
- Publications by healthcare or medical professionals
- Food and nutritional supplements
Advertising that makes claims that a food item has healing properties, that consuming the product may cure or prevent a disease, is prohibited. Advertising by specifying an organ in the human body is also prohibited. - Cosmetics
Attributing medicinal qualities or health properties to cosmetics is prohibited, unless it is a “dedicated cosmetic” and the attributed quality is directly due to the purposes of its use as approved by the Ministry of Health - Homeopathic products
The product’s advertisement must include a disclaimer stating that the product does not have an approved "medical indication", and medical assistance should be sought before using the product or if the symptoms for which the product is taken are not alleviated, or worsen - Medical devices and accessories
In accordance with the conditions under which the product or an identical product is marketed abroad
