Appeal a denied medical cannabis permit application
Here you can find information on how to appeal a denied application for a permit to keep and use medical cannabis.
If your application for a permit to keep and use medical cannabis has been denied, you can appeal through your primary care physician.
You need the Medical Cannabis Unit decision appeal form (Heb), and the following documents:
- Detailed medical information about your current condition
- A current report, provided by a pharmacy or your HMO, on the medications that you are receiving.
- Fill out the Medical Cannabis Unit decision appeal form (Hebrew).
- Attach the required documents.
- Email the application and documents to: [email protected].

- The appeal will be forwarded to the Medical Cannabis Unit board , which includes at least two medical specialists.
- The appeal and medical information will be reviewed in accordance with the Procedure for Permitting the Possession and Use of Cannabis (106, Heb).
- The medical board's decision will be sent to the patient and primary care physician.
- If the appeal is approved, a permit to keep and use medical cannabis will be issued, and emailed directly to the patient and primary care physician.
