Submitting an Excel Spreadsheet in SAFE Format to the Medical Cannabis Unit

This service allows entrepreneurs applying for a business license or cannabis research license, to submit a list of all stakeholders, authorized signatories, managers, and employees to the Medical Cannabis Unit in the Ministry of Health.

About the service

In accordance with the detailed guidelines of Government Resolution 1587 (Hebrew), and the Guidelines for the Business Licensing Process for Medical Cannabis (Road Map) (Hebrew), Medical Cannabis Unit Circular 107, and the detailed guidelines in Medical Cannabis Unit Circular 108, “Guidelines for submitting applications for research licensing and approval of new administration measures in the field of cannabis", all applicants must provide: a list of all stakeholders, authorized signatories, managers, employees, and any employee or subcontractor involved in cannabis-related activities on behalf of the entrepreneurs or individuals engaged in cannabis research must undergo a background check and include detailed information in an Excel spreadsheet in SAFE format.

Who must complete the form?

Individuals interested in obtaining a license for cannabis-related activities or research.
The Excel spreadsheet must specify the following:
- All stakeholders.
- Controlling shareholders.
- Authorized signatories.
- Managers.
- Employees.
- Any employee or subcontractor involved in cannabis-related activities on behalf of the researchers applying for a license.
- Individuals involved in cannabis research and activities.
