Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program joining request (Form 43)
This service allows international supply chain companies to file a request to join the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program.
The "Authorized Economic Operator” (AEO) program is designed to simplify trade processes and assist in securing the global value chain (GVC).
An AEO is a business entity, which has been examined and confirmed by the Customs Authority as meeting the criteria set for participation in the program.
Confirmed companies joining the program will benefit from expeditious trade processes in both import and export proceedings.
Who can apply
The program is intended for business entities meeting the criteria set for participation in the program:
- Exporting / manufacturing companies;
- Customs agents;
- International forwarders;
- Warehouses;
- Ports;
- Airline companies.
What to attach
Documents required to file the request:
- Company profile;
- Document supporting the existence of a commercial Record Management System (such as ISO9001 standard approval);
- Positive bookkeeping confirmation by the company's CPA;
- Company’s authorized signatories.

How to submit the application
A business seeking to obtain the status of "approved economic agent" will act as follows:
- The application form for joining the approved economic factor program must be filled out online and signed.
- Attach the required documents.
- Send the request to a customs-approved economic entity unit.
What’s next
- Please allow for 7 business days to get notice acknowledging the reception of your request.
- Customs audit stage - the request will be reviewed according to set criteria. Please allow for 60 business days to get the reply.
- After meeting the criteria, an activation meeting will be scheduled with the security officer responsible for initiating the security examination process.
- Security audit stage - The company will complete a security questionnaire within 45 days of receiving the questionnaire. After the responsible security officer reviews the questionnaire, a date for the examination will be set.
- The program manager will provide a response within 60 business days of the end of the audit.
