Submitting an Appeal of a Decision to Not Cancel a Fine Received on the Light Railway
This service allows passengers who received a fine on the light railway to file an appeal of a decision to not cancel the increased charge (fine).
Who can appeal
Passengers on the light railway who were fined for traveling without a ticket or traveling with an expired ticket on the train and whose submitted request to cancel the fine was denied.
When an appeal can be submitted
Within 45 days from the date of denial of the request to cancel the fine that was submitted to the railway vendor:
- Gush Dah – Tevel Metro Company – Dankal Website
- Jerusalem - Cfir Company – Jerusalem Light Railway
How to attach to the appeal
- A copy of the increased charge (fine)
- A copy of the request to cancel the fine that was sent to the light railway vendor
- A letter of rejection from the light railway vendor
- Other relevant documents, if there are any
- Signed power-of-attorney, when submitting the appeal for another passenger
How to submit the appeal
Complete the Appeal Submission Form – Light Railway:
- Specify the details of the party submitting the appeal and the contact details
- Write the reason for submitting the appeal
- Choose the preferred method of the hearing
- Attach the required documents
- Send the form online
Continued processing of the appeal
The Committee decision regarding the appeal will be sent by email.
