Gov.il content is official and up-to-date, however, it is not complete. We are continuouly adding information and services from all government ministries and agencies.
How does Gov.il work
Gov.il was built and is managed by the E–government Unit, a part of the ICT Authority, and a subsidiary of the Prime Minister's Office. In the initial planning phases, we conducted extensive studies of government websites worldwide, utilizing open-source knowledge and code, used by the British government for their web site, GOV.UK.
We apply the latest web technologies, and conduct extensive user testing, focus groups and web-based surveys, to develop the site and content. This is how we determine what information and services, the public needs, and helps us remain up-to-date with ever-changing web trends.
* gov.il is supported on the following browsers: Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer 11 and above, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. The site runs on multiple operating systems and devices, such as iOS version 7 and above and Android version 4.3 and above.
