COGAT's Financial Comptroller is simultaneously appointed by both the Israeli Ministry of Finance and the Financial Affairs Coordinator, after receiving authorization from the Head of the Civil Administration.
Areas of Responsibility and Services
- Responsible for monitoring, managing, and controlling the budget for the COGAT Unit and its secondary units
- Responsible for the implementation of financial obligations and contracts of the Civil Administration and for the payment of the related amounts to contractors
- Responsible for the revenue of the COGAT Unit
- Management of various deposit funds
- Responsible for external budget funds of the Civil Administration
- Payment of salary to civil servants working for the COGAT Unit
- Preparation of accounting reports and drafting of financial statements
- Providing accounting and auditing services for the COGAT Unit
